Udupi, Dec 15: "Siddaramaiah is questioning the BJP if anyone from the party has sacrificed their lives for the country. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, is the first person who sacrificed his life. Siddaramaiah has no control on his tongue," said BL Santhosh, national general secretary of BJP.
He was speaking during a BJP meeting at Udupi on Wednesday December 15.
"Let him read about Syama Prasad Mukherjee with a cool mind sitting at home. God has given conscience to everyone, but some have killed their own conscience. Among them, there are a few opposition party leaders," he said.
Santhosh also said that no one should sell their vote. “A politician should understand that he is not for sale. As much as 99% of people in Dakshina Kannada-Udupi have proven that they are not for sale. This has been proved in the Legislative Council elections. We are not for sale. The people who are into public life should have this commitment.
“Answering Siddaramaiah is like pelting stone into dirt. Siddaramaiah used to abuse RSS. He opposed the naming of an overbridge after Savarkar. The life story of Savarkar should reach every youth. People have rejected Siddaramaiah. Even in the future, people will reject him. We need not respond to all his comments. People have voted BJP into power for development. We need not answer all questions posed by Congress leaders,” he said.
