Udupi, De 16: "The first generation Christians are much more dangerous than the second and third generations," said national general secretary of BJP, B L Santhosh.
He was speaking at the ‘Vishwarpanam’, the concluding ceremony of Admaru Paryaya. Addressing the gathering on 'Current Affairs of Hindu Religion', Santhosh said, "If there are first generation of converted Christians, we need to understand that the danger is at our doors. They may be living in our surroundings, but we need to be vigilant about them. Anti-conversion law will be enacted. Even the chief minister has also been assured about it. But law is not the only solution for this. The society should be aware about the law and should be vigilant. Our girls are becoming victims of Love Jihad. We need to notice the growth in population. If it is increasing, then it is alarming.
"We cannot live just by the names of Krishna-Rama. We should be doing activities which need to be done at the right time. We should unite in the name of caste, religion and locality. Western society is trying to impose uniformity in language, dress codes and culture. Uniformity is dangerous to society. We need to just go through the products in our homes. Let us decide to quit all the foreign items used in our homes and shift to indigenous things,” he said.
Commenting about Romans performing yoga during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Rome, Santhosh said, "Today, the number of practicing Hindus is increasing. More and more people are practicing Hinduism. Until our beliefs are not hurt, we have no problem with others’ beliefs.”
Paryaya Admaru seer Eeshapriya Theerha Swamiji presided over the programme.
