Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath lays foundation for construction of dock at Bengre

Mangaluru, Dec 18: MLA Vedavyasa Kamath laid the foundation stone for the building of dock for anchoring country boats at Bengre at an estimated cost of Rs 3.70 crore on Saturday December 18.

In addition, he also conducted Bhoomi pooja for the skill development center for minorities.

President of MUDA Ravishankar Mijar and other officials were present.

According to the project details, beach landing for country boats that are 90 meter in length, 90 meter long concrete road, dredging to a depth of two meters for country boats to anchor, diaphragm wall of 56 meter length and 450 mm thickness, 600 mm thickness and 36 meter long diaphragm wall and 45 meter long RCC retainer wall will be built.

    What about the roads near the PVS Kodialbail area no place on the roads cars parked on both sides of the road and obstructing movement of vehicles. Footpath have disappeared and difficult for pedestrians to walk on the footpath. No road widening works in the PVS area if effecting any business.

    I appreciate mla kamath for some of his work, especially the gujjarkere lake , which many previous mla's hav failed to beautify. Plus he doesnt do any unwanted hindu muslim inciting comments unlike other highly educated mla's
