Yeddyurappa 'to Act' in Film on Lord Ayyappa

Yeddyurappa ‘to Act’ in Film on Lord Ayyappa

New Delhi/Bangalore, Nov 27 (DHNS):
Perhaps impressed by his performance in the political arena, director Vijeesh Mani has cast Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa for a prominent role in his latest film on Lord Ayyappa, a Malayalam newspaper reported on Saturday.

To be titled “Bhooloka Rakshakan” (protector of the universe), the film would be produced in a total of 35 languages - 18 Indian and 17 foreign, the leading Kerala daily “Mathrubhoomi” reported.

According to the newspaper, the film would be based on the friendship between Ayyappa and Vavar, a Muslim friend of the Lord, sending out a message of peace.

According to reports, Yeddyurappa held detailed discussions with Mani when he visited the Madayi Kavu temple near Kannur recently.

The first scene of the film was shot last month and locations for shooting would include Sabarimala, the Mysore Palace, Kailash Manassarovar and Oman.

The film also features Vivek Oberoi, an Ayyappa devotee, several cricketers and upcoming actors, the report said. It is also said that Brahmadattan, the son of the Raja Tantri at the Sabarimala Temple will be seen in an important role.

Mani, who is back after another record-making film “Bhagavan” which was shot in 12 hours in 2009, has roped in ace percussionist Sivamani to score the music for this film. More than 200 singers will reportedly be lending their voices to songs penned by 50 lyricists.

The chief minister’s office in Bangalore said the report was nothing but “rumours”.

Mr. C.M., if you started acting
in movies earlier, you could have
    acted from Bollywood to Hollywood,
because we have not seen such
a born actor in politics like
    you.

    Even though I have commented
    earlier that the political
episode and saga of Karnataka was
a fitting script for a great
    movie, but never thought that
he would be called to act.
Sir, I must agree without any question that your star is a super star.

    Please quit politics, and start
acting, and you will be an
    internationally known star with
10 times of income than the present
    income with daily torment.

    MGR became a great politician
by jumping to politics from acting,
but your star is just the opposite
    "politics to movie".

Yeddy should be made the HERO and SHOBHA the HEROINE. I am sure this movie will break all the Box Office Records. CM job is not fit for you Yeddy. You know how to Act very well and we saw in Land Scam. Your children can also take part as Co- Actors and Actresses. Yeddy you cannot rule and even if you rule it will be through CORRUPTION. Mr. Mani you were the only person who is impressed on Yeddy's Performance in Ploitical Arena. How much Land Yeddy gave you ?

Do not change the actors but instead of “Bhooloka Rakshakan” change the title into “Bhooloka Raakshasa”. Yeddyurappa has no time to find out the real difference. Goodluck....
