Riyadh: Kingdom supports stability of Yemen

Riyadh, Dec 20: Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, deputy defence minister of the country reaffirmed that the Arab collation is always with the Yemeni government in order to achieve peace and stability in the region.

This assurance was given by the price during a meeting with Yemeni prime minister.

Iran-backed Houti militia is creating issues in the country of Yemen since 2014. Other Arab states are helping Yemeni government to fight the rebels.

The kingdom welcomed that recent decision of the Yemeni government to form anti-corruption agency to prevent supply of arms and ammunition to the HOuti rebels.

The Yemeni prime minister appreciated the continuous support of Saudi Arabia to the nation. He said that Saudi Arabia is the biggest aid donor to the nation through its aid agency KS Relief.
