Dubai: Full operation on in airport after coronavirus pandemic

Dubai, Dec 21: The officials of the emirates said that the airport in the city, which is one of the busiest in the world, is fully operational after its operations were hampered due to a coronavirus pandemic in March 2020.

All the terminals, lounges, restaurants, retail outlets and concourse now 100% operational after the final phase was opened.

The emirate suffered a serious drop in passenger traffic in 2020. Only 25.9 million passengers passed through the airport in 2020 compared to 86 million in 2019.

Expo 2020, which opened in the emirate on October 1, 2021, has increased the revenue of the emirate, which largely depends on the tourism sector. The exhibition will run for six months.

Meanwhile, Abudhabi, the capital of UAE received Evoshield, an antibody treatment from AstraZeneca for the booster dose of Omicron.
