Mangaluru, Dec 23: Gangadhar Attavar (62), who owned Sri Ganesh Ambulance service, breathed his last late night on Wednesday December 22. He was 62, and a resident of Attavar here.
After he fell ill three days back, he was treated in Highland and KMC Hospitals in the city. But efforts made to treat him failed and at about 12.30 am on Thursday, he lost his life.
Attavar, who started Sri Ganesh Ambulance service with a single ambulance, had over the last 35 years, acquired over 18 ambulances. He had provided employment to many drivers.
His selfless services rendered during the Covid19 period are gratefully being remembered by everyone even now.
