Abu Dhabi: Green status on Al-Hosn apps mandatory to enter emirate

Abu Dhabi, Dec 28: Motorists from other emirates who have to enter the emirate need to show the green status on their Al-Hosn apps. This rule is made mandatory from December 30 as the Covid protocols are tightened further in the emirate.

The negative PCR test result of within 96 hours should be shown by the motorists who are still not vaccinated. This announcement was made on the Twitter handle of Abu Dhbai media office on Tuesday.

EDE scanners will be used to increase the speed of detention of potential coronavirus cases as new protocols are being put in place to control the Omicron variant.

These attempts are being made to enhance the precautionary measure to maintain public health as per the media office of Emirate.

In the past weeks, the emirate saw a rapid rise in the cases of Covid. On Monday alone 1732 infections were reported in the emirate. In early December the cases per day were as low as 50.
