Mangaluru, Jan 4: BJP state president welcomed the decision of giving autonomous status to Hindu temple of the state.

Speaking in the city, Nalin said, “Hindus of the state believed that the temples should be independently managed and not by the government. They wanted independence like Muslims and Christians. The development of temples should take place locally without the interruption of the government. However, Congress is politicising the issue as it follows anti-Hindu policy.

“Congress has opposed anti-conversion act, CAA and now autonomous status of temples. It is cheating the Hindu society in order to appease the minority for their votes. It does not believe in Hinduism and people who follow it. Bommai's decision is right. All Math seers and temple management committees have welcomed the decision.

“I welcome the decision of the BJP government with respect to anti-conversion law and temple autonomous status. Siddaramaiah is criticising the government. Why did he introduce Tipu Jayanti? For the appeasement of whom? In the Shadi Bhagya scheme also he brought religious feeling by offering it only to minorities. Congress policies are utterly against the Hindus. Siddaramaiah held the Ahinda movement. But what did he did when people like Prashant Poojary, Sharath Madiwala and Puttappa died? Hindu society vehemently opposes the anti-Hindu policy of Congress,” he said.
