Moodbidri: Alva's College Post Graduation Students Bag Eight Ranks

Moodbidri, Dec 6: Alva's College has bagged eight ranks in post graduation examinations, conducted by Mangalore University during academic year 2009 – 10.

Shruthi C T bagged first rank in M Sc (analytical chemistry) while Reema bagged first rank in MSc (biotechnology). Archana P Naik bagged the third rank in MSc (biotechnology), Suchetha bagged fifth rank in MSW and Chandraprabha bagged second rank in MSc (analytical chemistry). While Soumya Shetty bagged second rank in PGDCA , Soumya bagged third rank in PGDCA, the only male student Nagaraj bagged third rank in MSc (analytical chemistry).

Alva's Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva and lecturers of the college have extended congratulations to the the rank holders.

    Congratuation to my daughter REEM and all other rank holders of this year and also congratulation to Dr M Mohan Alva who made possible higher studies in Moodabidri itself instead of going to study distance places either Mangalore or Udipi. Thanks again to Dr Mohan Alva and hope your institution will grow further.

    Dr M Mohan Alva should acquire about 100 acres of land and start a mage university of world standard, in the line of University of Cambridge (UK), Harvard University (US), Yale University (US), University College London (UK) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (US). The mega industrialists of this region should support him financially to meet the World Standard Infrastructures, Faculties and Research Centers.
