Udupi BJP holds protest against Congress MP DK Suresh - Social distancing, mask rule goes for a toss

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (HB/DV)

Udupi, Jan 4: Covid-19 protocols went for a toss on Tuesday January 4, as leaders of the district BJP staged a protest against Congress MP D K Suresh in front of the BJP office here.

BJP leaders were condemning Congress leader D K Suresh for confronting minister Ashwath Narayan on the stage in front of chief minister Basavaraj Bommai during a government event in Ramanagara.

They also alleged that the behaviour of Congress leader D K Suresh and MLC Ravi is an example of Congress's 'goonda culture'.

BJP district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak said, “Goondaism during the inauguration of the development programme is an unpardonable offence. Congress does not need development. With the behaviour of Suresh and Ravi, it is clearly understood how the Congress will be in the future.

“While Congress was ruling Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, the condition was the same. They showed the same ‘goonda’ attitude. They are spreading rumours about the anti-cow slaughter law and anti-conversion laws. Hence, people are not expecting much from Congress. Such Congress culture should end. People will end such goonda culture,” he said.

BJP leader Uday Kumar Shetty said, "It is said that Corruption means Congress. Earlier, when the Congress was in power in Udupi, they used to take away the booth of BJP during the night. Illegality is not new to Congress. If the goondas become the president in Congress, the history repeats. This is very dangerous.”

City BJP president Mahesh Takur, Veena Shetty, Shivakumar Ambalpady Devi Prasad Shetty, Shrinidhi Hegde, Dinkar Babu, Shrikanth Shetty and others were present.

Ask Udupi police to arrest them for putting peoples life in Danger. Covid is not over yet. BJP is in ruling does not mean they can break the rule. I challenge Udupi police to arrest them or take action against them if they got balls.

Dear Saif, police will reward bjp people instead of arresting them for voiling covid rules. These rules are for non bjp members only. BJP can do anything coz they are the rulers and care takers. Authorities have closed their ehyes on this issue and not opening their mouth due to fear of getting dismissed or transferred by Bangalore rulers.

These people elected representatives, no mask or social distancing. Rules only r for common man. The govt should ban gatherings, protest rather than implementation of illogical lockdowns.

People have now learnt the hard way. They will not fall for your communal and divisive politics anymore and vote you. Do you have any accomplishments and achievements more than congress then state them and earn votes not snatching votes by same old good for nothing ranting of broken record.
