Dubai : ‘Simple’ Band to Rock Milagreans’ Event on Jan 28

Dubai, Dec 9: The Milagreans-Kallianpur Gulf Association Dubai (MGAD) will have its annual parish feast (Vodlem fest) celebration at the City Centre Hotel, Deira City Centre, in the city from 12:30 pm on January 28, 2011.
MGAD is association of like-minded people belonging to Milagres parish Kallianpur and the former students who have passed out of various Milagres institutions and are presently settled or working in UAE.
The event is set to bring back memories of a typical ‘Kallianpur Milagres Vodlem Festh’. The day-long event will have a lot of family fun alongwith live music, dance, stall games, lucky draws, and of course the Grand Milagrean Housie.
A special attraction will be the ‘Combo Draw’ and ‘Milagres Stall’.
The best Indo-Srilankan Band in town ‘Simple’ will provide quality music and will be complimented by the best Mangalorean DJs in town who will rock the floor with their scintillating numbers. Prizes worth thousands of dirhams will be given away.
The proceeds of the event will be used to establish a Milagrean scholarship/aid-in-need fund to help the needy back home. Daijiworld.com will be the official media sponsors of the event.
