New premises of Mangalore chapter ICSI inaugurated at Balmatta

Mangaluru Jan 10: Managing director and chief executive officer of Karnataka Bank, Mahabaleshwar M S, inaugurated the new premises of Mangaluru chapter of Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) here at Milestone 25 Balmatta on Monday January 10.

Addressing the gathering, Mahabaleshwar said, “It is a dream come true for Mangaluru chapter to have its new premises. Let this chapter be a vibrant one. There are a lot of responsibilities on your shoulder to improve the economic condition of the country. It is not an easy job for the students. CS students need to upgrade their knowledge or else it will be difficult to cope up with new age challenges. Every day will give you an opportunity to learn where you will face challenges. If you have right mindset, you will be able to achieve your goal.”

Chairman SIRC of ICSI N Balasubramanian said, “Mangaluru chapter has its new premises now. More number of students should join Mangaluru chapter and take it to new heights.”

President of ICSI said Nagendra D Rao, “The determination and enthusiasm of Mangaluru chapter to set up its new premises should be appreciated. The effort of Mangaluru chapter motivates me. I feel Mangaluru chapter is in safe hand of youngsters.”

Mahabaleshwar was felicitated on the occasion.

Chief operating officer of Karnataka Bank, Y V Balachandra and secretary of Mangalore chapter, Sonali Mallya were present.

Chairman of Mangaluru chapter SIRC of ICSI, Ganesh Kamath welcomed the gathering, Soujanya Hegde compered the event.
