Bantwal: Body with separated torso, skull found on railway track

Bantwal, Jan 11: A body was found lying near the B C Road railway station on the night of Monday January 10. Strangely, the torso and skull of the body were found to have been separated.

It is suspected that the man in question would have died by suicide.

In all likelihood, the person would have offered himself to be run over by a goods train at about 8 pm on Monday.

Mangaluru railway police visited the spot and scrutinized the area besides making enquiries.

    So sad.one can make out when torso and skull seperated is ,whether it is self mord or someone done it and thrown to railway track to mislead.Have to see the injured/seperated cut if from a weapon or train run over.I dont think any living person will be bold enough to lay his head when train run over him.May his soul rest in peace.whoever it is ,heartfelt sympathy to his family.
