Billawas Dubai is the only one, amongst many mangalore based organisations from the GCC region which sincerely works towards providing education to poor students. I understand they provide scholarships to several hundred students each year. This itself is a great job and they need to be appreciated for their selfless and silent job. It is high time Govt. of Karnataka recognise their selfless work.

Hi Tina Lobo from Manglore /Ajman, why you were confused? So many banners besides the name on the entry pass clearly said it was a function of Billawas Dubai. But quite a few non-billawas were also participated. Quality of the function is such that non-billawas also attend every year. But do not get confused - 95% of the crowd consisted of billawas.

Oliver D'sa , Udupi / NY, you have raised a good point. Because of the amount of charity extended by Billawas Dubai & NE, it is a distinct association. I have read in one of their earlier article and also as announced by their President Mr. Mohan Attavar, they have so far donated an amount of Rs. 43 lacs which in itself is a record. They had brought out a brochure on the function day, which gave the break up of donations in detail. They are very popular because of their support to the cause of education and financial help to the poor and needy medical patients.

So much of commentary and so much of pageantry added with colorful dances and colorful costumes with so many minute details about the tastefully planned program with pretty ladies and handsome men in the pictures about the glorious anniversary celebrations of the Billawa community in Dubai and Northern Emirate. Thanks are also due to the Emirate Governments to allow us to demonstrate so much of communal and religious festivals and freedom so vividly provided so that the world could read and share the joy of India's diversified culture and religion for beyond the borders of India.

Americans and the Westerners love to witness and learn such a display of global culture added with history and tradition. But it would have been only nice and wise if the organizers only spent a few more minutes to describe and explain what is the "HISTORICAL" background of BILLAWAS is all about. Where does the Billawas are originated from and what is the religious and historical background of so much that you see and admire. Kindly elaborate bit more on the Billawas and let us get more educated about the history of our own ancient mythology and background so that our children and their children can also learn and be familiarized. Thank you and "Dhunyawaadh".

Billawas Dubai have set a new trend by organizing a great function. Through their program they have given meaningful messages concerning our society and the world. They have demonstrated that if one has the will help the needy, it can be achieved.
My salute to Billawas Dubai and their leader Mohan Attavar who has shown guts by inviting the people who have parted their way from Billawas Dubai to join back. I am sure that your future projects in India will see lights with the blessings of Guru Narayan.

Would like to say thanks to one and all who are all witnessed this program and made the grand success. Without you well wishers our (BDNE) effort is nothing. I was mesmerized when 2 tiny kids doing a duet dance (Master Anshul & Baby Shreyaa). This is really a great work from Mr. Rajesh Kutthar training these kids. As mentioned by Mr. Manohar Thonse, Abudhabi, it is an excellent Program by the mercy of Lord

BDNE entertainment Secretaries Mr. Jagannath Bellare & Mrs. Deepa Jagannath has put maximum effort to brighten up the function. Converge of all the artists from different age level it is a very difficult task. I appreciate the self control of the couple. God bless them.
