Bengaluru, Jan 12: Karnataka on Wednesday, January 12 registered 21,390 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 93,099. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 15,617.
As many as 10 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Wednesday, the death toll in the state has risen to 38,389.
The state recorded 1,541 discharges from hospitals on Wednesday, taking the total discharges to 29,68,002.
So far, Karnataka has seen 30,99,519 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 10.96% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.04 %.
As many as 9,06,73,399 people have received vaccination so far.
