Hospitals directed to suspend outpatient treatment for 15 days

Bengaluru, Jan 15: All hospitals in the State to not to provide ‘out-patient care/elective case, including dental patients’ to patients with mild symptoms for the next two weeks or till further orders to prevent crowding and the spread of Covid-19.

The Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department T K Anil Kumar has issued an official public notification to the hospitals/super-speciality hospitals or autonomous institutions that only sick and patients requiring emergency care’’ may be permitted to visit in view of the prevailing Covid-19 situation.

Even private hospitals have been instructed to take similar steps ‘to prevent crowding and halt the spread of Covid-19’.

    With such IAS God save us. Malls open; wine shops open but OPDs should close! Hospitala are the only place where mask is strictly adhered to . Guess these people sitting in ac offices have no idea of the ground reality

    Senseless public notification by T. K. Anil kumar ( principal secretary to Government health and family welfare department)only height of hypocrisy. In Udupi the Saptotsava which concluded with Choornotsava held at car street Krishna Mutt is OK. Without following covid protocol anything can happen at Hindu temples. This can be called a super spreader. Where would sick go for treatment?

    One of the most famous country in medical field is India. And now these uneducated ministers do not know how to control the situation. Why out patients will die without treatment. Patients will not come simply to hospitals to enjoy life. These Governments wants to kill people in many ways. Either no. Proper medical treatment or no developments in our country. High cost of living

    Totally unscientific, senseless decision. Idea may be to reduce people taking medical advice so that they don't get tested and the numbers come down. Can't see any other reason.

    In hospitals that charge Rs 800 to 1500 for consultation, generally there is no much crowd in OPD. But,since OPD consultation is free in govt hospitals and Fr. Mullar hospital, naturally there is crowd in OPD. When trains, metro, buses and taxis are running, shops and markets are open, bar and restaurants are open, cinema and yakshagana are open, the closure of OPD does not seem to be making sense. But, I was told that govt wants hospitals, doctors and nurses to be now available for covid patients.

    Absolutely condemnable Udupi DC has not ordered closure of schools & switching to online mode until end of 3rd wave. Usual insensitiivity of govt & waking up only when fire spreads beyond control. DC & govt shud be held accountable for risking health of children under pressure of school mgts

    Covid 19 gone long back after 1st wave. This is communist chinese lab modified fast spreading Covid 21 and Greek named Omicron. But not deadly as vaccine generated Covid 19's binary or Delta strain or 2nd wave. This Omicron also to push deadly delta booster for one more deadly new binary strain of Omicron. Elite and Communist chinese binary attack on most of humanity using virus and Vaccines. Again with "Spike generating boosters" striking the hearts and lungs of most of vaccinated humanity is evil elite and communist chinese game plan for world control

    Concerned mangalore,Now what is the use of blaming chinese ?Now our Govt,and our duty is to see that to control ,take care ,so that not spread further.Past is past.We self too have to blame self.Just think how many of us didnt go to vaccinate ?first or still ?How many people tried to preach not to take?How many went without precautions mixed with others govt too didnt have enough vaccine for long time?But sent to other Nations.?Now how many people have taken second or Booster ?Lot of people rush to Jatre or Kola without precautions .In churches I cant say.Instead of blaming others now ,we must see that it doesnt spread further .
