Apex Court Questions States Over Students' Fate


New Delhi, Dec 14 (IANS) The Supreme Court Tuesday issued notice to all the states asking them how they would accommodate students of 44 private deemed universities if they were to be derecognised.

The apex court bench headed by Justice Dalveer Bhandari said this while hearing a public interest litigation by Viplab Sharma seeking derecognition of all private institutions granted deemed university status.
