We are overwhelmed by the response we received even before our official announcement, So far 8 families have extended the invitation to their residence for the group for the Carols. We will try to cover as many residents as possible. However, due to logistical limitations we request all the residents to note that we will be closing accepting invites by December 20 for both crib competition and carol singing request to accommodate large areas across the region.

A day exclusively will be dedicated at the labour camp, the real joy is the reward we get when we see the smiling faces of people who welcome us whole heartedly. For us Carol singing and the crib
competition is not just a community bonding exercise but more importantly it is to ensure that we keep getting closer to our roots and keep our traditions alive.

George Castelino a prominent business man and a resident of Dubai said “I was raised in Mangalore and crib building was a integral part of our childhood, I am touched with this initiative from the KY group.

Many of nieces and nephews who have been raised in Dubai have never even heard about the traditional crib building. This year I will ensure that my family will bring home our culture and traditions. Ever since I came to UAE 30 years back I have never looked forward Christmas celebration so eagerly, he said.
