With the objective to promote Tulu culture, Abu Dhabi Tulu Koota hosted the second show of ‘Benpinori Tinpinori’ for the Abu Dhabi audience which was also supported by the Billawas Dubai who came in large numbers to witness the programme along with other groups from various Tulu speaking communities. More than 400 people gathered and enjoyed the show which was a mixture of laughter blended with sorrow and a message of goodwill to the community.

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp and sharing of the ‘pingara’ by all the guests of honour on the stage including Sudhir Kumar Shetty, CEO, UAE Exchange, Shekar Shetty, MD, Arab Udupi Group of Restaurants, Sunder Shetty, MD, Nihal & Tandoori Inn Restaurant, Ramesh Shetty, MD, Golden Crown Restaurant, Manohar Tonse, committee member, Abu Dhabi Tulu Koota, and many other dignitaries on the stage in pure traditional style.

I understand the hurt feeling of Sarvothamanna due to highlighting a particular community in the report though the drama was a product of efforts of many other communities too irrespective of cast or creed.I heard from some corners that even in the photograps section of audience, a particular community has been given more coverage. Hope it is unintentional and care will be taken in future.

      Dear Shodhan Prasad,
I would like to correct your news regarding two points : (1) There were more than 800 audience (not 400 as u said) (2) There were many Committee Members of Abu Dhabi Tulu Koota but you have mentioned only Manohar Tonse's name. It has created problem for me and you have to be more clear when u publish the report and not to be biased. Please take this as advise from me and dont feel bad.

      Dear Sarvotham,
Thanks to organizing committee members of Tulu Koota Abu Dhabi, specially you for staging the fentastic, rib tickling drama in Abu Dhabi. Very good script and an outstaning performance by every artist. Congratulations to one and all. Wish this drama be staged once again, as I could not watched it till last. Pls stage more of these kind of humourous Natak's. I would like to mention here about the mesmerising voice of Harish. What a voice !! suited best for playback singing Kannada/tulu films. First time hearing, It is either I that have not attended the Tulu functions lately or was he not singing before? I would love hear him again and again - Thank you.

I enjoyed the drama and I appreciate entire team for their good professionalism and talents. This was social awareness for men who forget their responsibilities towards their families as well as their commitments towards societies. It teaches how the elders are treated and respected in our home. And how the superstitious practices become our way of life and part our beliefs.

Keep it up the spirits. Thanks for the organizers and all the participants.

      Dear Sarvothamanna,
The drama "Benpinori Tinpinori" came out much better than I expected, thanks to the wonderful team effort and your excellent co-ordination. Each and every role of the drama and dialogues entertained the audience fully.Though the drama put us on laughing mode, the essence of the drama made us switch on to thinking mode.It alerted us on the evil effects of finance & interest on society & finally, our duty towards nation. Great drama, thanks a lot.

It was a wonderful drama. The way artists performed was like 100% professional actors. Script was good also. Not even a single minute it looked like dragging or boring. Thanks Mr. Sarvo & all those who were behind making this happen. My only concern is why in all dramas & movies soldiers are shown as either losing life or becoming handicapped? Can we show one drama or a movie wherein soldier achieve his goal successfully and comes back intact and lives happily forever?
