Dubai: Ullas Fernandes Elected ‘Udentichim Neketram’ President

Dubai Dec 20: Ullas Fernandes from Siddakatte has been elected as the president of ‘Udentichim Neketram’, Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association, while Anil Fernandes from Paladka has been elected the general secretary for the year of 2011during annual general meeting held, recently.

Ullas Fernandes, is a dynamic youth leader and a founder member of six-year-old Udenthichim Neketram Association. Earlier he also served as the president of Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Mangalore diocese and president of Konkan Yuva, Dubai.




On his being elected, he said “Our main aim is to bring all Moodbidri Varado people together, keeping in mind our association’s main objective that is ‘Unity, Love and Service’ and also help needy people of 13 parishes of Moodbidri Varado back home”.

The newly elected office-bearers are as follows:

President: Ullas Fernandes Siddakatte
Vice President: Melwin Cardoza, Alangar
General Secretary: Anil Fernandes, Paladka
Assistant Secretary: CyprianFernandes, Vamadapadav
Treasurer: Wilfred Fernandes, Vamadapadav
Sports Secretary: Deepak D’Silva, Paladka
Assistant Sports Secretary: Paul D’souza, Paladka
Cultural  Secretary: Lawrence Cardoza Belvai
Media Representative: Anil D’Souza Taccode
