You Have Lots to Hide, Sushma to PM

New Delhi, Dec 22 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushma Swaraj Wednesday said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh "has lots to hide" and that is why the government is so averse to a joint parliamentary committee (JPC) probe into alleged irregularities in the allocation of 2G spectrum.

"The prime minister has said no JPC, Sonia Gandhi has said no JPC and I want to ask today: 'Soniaji, why no JPC, Manmohan Singh why no JPC'," Swaraj, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, said.

She was addressing an anti-government rally here to take the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance's "fight against corruption" to Delhi's streets.

Swaraj asked the prime minister why he was not ready to face a JPC, even as Manmohan Singh offered to appear before parliament's Public Accounts Committee on the 2G spectrum allocation.

"Mr. prime minister, if you are so averse to the JPC it means you have lots to hide," Swaraj said.

The anti-United Progressive Alliance (UPA) rally comes after the opposition parties stalled parliament for the entire Nov 9-Dec 13 winter session demanding a JPC probe into the wrongdoings in the allocating second generation telephony spectrum in 2008, an issue that forced DMK leader A.Raja to quit as communications minister.

The rally, targetting the Congress-led UPA on various corruption scams, kick-starts the NDA's two-month long nationwide campaign against corruption.

Swaraj said the NDA would be holding 12 such rallies in the coming two months before the start of the crucial budget session of parliament in the last week of February 2011.

    Sushmaajee..you have right to ask Government about corruption. But please tell me why you are keeping quiet about illegal mining by your deciples and land scam by our CM of Karnataka where your party is in power. You need to clean your house first and then only you can ask our honourable PM to resign. Our PM is not involved in the scam so for him there is no need to resign. What action has been taken against Bellary Reddy brothers? Nobody can touch them as they have your blessings. So please stop this nonsence and we are fed up. We are ashamed to say that we are the first state in South India which bought BJP into power. Now we have realised that all parties are same and when it comes to corruption no party is different. jai ho India..Jai Karnataka.

    Sushma madam, apke apna sikka hi khota hi, aur aap doosron ko ungli uthate ho. Khud ko pehle dekho. congress leaders bhi curruption me hi magar unhon ne chief ministers ko hi hata dala. aur aap log kuch nahi kar sakte. shame on u people. u can only watch ur high command is redyy brothers and u people.

    What about you.....you have nothing to hide........Can you please explain how did you win Vidisha Loksabha election...... Could you please explain how did Reddys purchased Congress candidate from vidisha constituency through Muscle and money power. Your no where near Manmohan Singh.

    Sushmaji first sack your CORRUPT CM of KARNATAKA before you bark. You have no right to attack our PM or SONIAJi. What you are ? You are not fit to be Soniaji's even Secretary. What you did when you were Delhi CM ? Hardly you did anything. You were doing Policeman's job when you were CM of Delhi. Why you went to Bellary to meet Reddy Bros ? What work you had there ? What is the inside story ? First of all you BJP Leaders are not united among yourself. You are asking the question to Congress you have lots to Hide ? You answer this now and ask Congress this later on. Set your house in order Sushmaji first and then point fingers on Soniaji or Manmohan Singh. By NDA Rally nothing will happen. Indians have seen NDA how they ruled and how they left Hardcore Terrorists in Khandar. Advani even did not know Jaswant Singh going to Khandar being Home Minister.

    as a citizen of india..we can definelty know that its imposible for this small time thief raja to involve & use his brain in such a big scam withoiut blessing from top congress ..ie mms,sonia,rahul..
    as a citizen of india myself lsot faith in thse 3 murtis..
    if they are really innocnet they have to prove temselves by jpc investigation..
    but they are not ready.itself proves ahat there is big big loot is hidden by soniaji..
    if its exposed even she got only one option..fly back to italy..

    BUT IN THIS CASE THERE SHOULD BE JPC..
    THEN ONLY REAL TRUTH WILL COME OUT..AND WE, CITIZEN OF INDIA NEED TO KNOW REAL FACE OF OUR POLITICIANS..
    BCOS THIS SCAM IS POINTING FINGERS TO TOP GUNS LIKE MANMOHAN,SONIA AND RAHUL..
    OTHERIWSE Y MANMOHAN OR SONIA IS SO SCARED AND RESTLESS OF JOINT INVESTIGATION ?AND Y OPPSIONTIN IS SO MUCH CONFIDENT ?
