London, Dec 23: The blanket of unprecedented snow which covered the entire Britain for hours together could not deter the spirit of many Mangaloreans who gathered at Addlestone Community centre for the Christmas programme here, recently.
The programme started with carol and prayer by Fr Vinod. As Elton and Elroy D’Souza started the carols with ‘Dashing through the Snow’, Santa Clause made his entry during the programme. Santa distributed sweets and gifts for the children.
Tia D’Souza and Irene Lobo Meher entertained the crowd with dances. Estella Vaz, Praveen D’Costa and Melwyn Vaz presented a skit.
UK Konkans, president Erica D’Souza, welcomed the guests. Br Jerry Dias compered the programme. Tom D’Souza, secretary of UK Konkans proposed the vote of thanks. Richard Lobo and Christine Lobo were the sponsors for the prize.
