Mangalore, Dec 27: Dubai Bearys Cultural Forum president Dr B K Yusuf handed over Rs 5 lac donation to Al-Badriya Group of Education Institutions in 7th block, Krishnapura at a programme held here on Monday December 27.

The programme initiated with the prayer by Khathib Al-Haz E K Ibrahim Madani of Badriya Juma Masjid.

Dr B K Yusuf in his address said that mere writing and studying do not fulfill the meaning of education, rather it means understanding the reality in the world and framing our life accordingly. He also opined that proper blueprint should be drafted in education system in order to boost nation’s economic development.

Dr Yusuf also announced that he will bear education expenses of five students of the school every year.

Haji B M Mumtaz Ali presided. Abubakar, president of Badriya Juma Masjid Muslim Jamat, delivered the keynote address. School secretary B A Nazeer welcomed the gathering.

Dr B K Yusuf was felicitated on the occasion. Congress Minority Unit president Modeen Bava, B K Hamid, Maysaddi, K Mushtaq, Abubakar Siddiq among others were present.

Chief secretary Abdul Nasir delivered the vote of thanks. B A Mohammed Ali compered the programme.

    It is in deed a matter of great pleasure to know that Dr.B.K.Yusuf, President of BCF and a well known philanthropist Kannadiga is redering his magnanimous support to Al Badria group of Education. He rightly said that Education will be useful to mankind only if it is accompanied by the real concern for the humanity. On behalf of BCF I congratulate the Al Badria Education Establishment and its dynamic management team headede by Mr.Mumtaz Ali for its selfless service of the communbity in the field of Eduacation and Dr.B.K.Yusuf for being a part of this noble cause.
