Houthi drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia’s Abha airport injures 12 civilians

Riyadh, Feb 10: In a drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia’s Abha airport on Thursday, twelve civilians were reported to be injured, sources revealed.

Saudi defenses have destroyed the drone, the Yemen coalition to restore legitimacy said. It added that it would take operational measures in response to the threat of targeting civilian airports and travelers.

In the recent years the Abha airport, along with its neighboring city Khamis Mushait, had seen repeated drone and missile strikes since Saudi Arabia first led the coalition in helping Yemen's legitimate government fight the Iran-backed Houthis.
