London, Dec 29: KCA UK celebrated the Christmas get-together, known as ‘Christmas Boom’ for the fourth successive year, at St Margaret’s Hall Burnage here, recently.
People belonging to different faith and communities participated in the fun filled Christmas Boom extravaganza.
The event was designed for both kids and adults. The event started with face paintings for kids followed by magic show by ‘Baaz Entertainers’. Santhosh Sequiera gave an effective start to the family event by meaningful introduction and each family breaking the ‘Christmas Cracker’. KCA UK president Stany Rodrigues welcomed the guests. In his welcome speech, he urged everyone to enjoy the event as one family.
Carol singing by children brought the surprise entry of Santa. He wished everyone a happy feast and distributed prizes for children.
Santhosh Pinto conducted family games. Raj Girija couple and family was the winner of the family game. Renny Buthello gave the prize to the winner. People were attired in the characters of angels and jokers including a character Sheila and her partner which attracted people during the programme.
A Christmas play was also enacted by KCA UK members on the occasion. ‘The family of the day’ prize went to Evet Pinto and Family from Liverpool, Praveen Soanes couples, Manchester presented the prize to the winner. Christmas hamper went to Praveen Solomn Manchester.

KCA UK secretary Vinod Barboza proposed the vote of thanks. DJ Ronald Lobo looked after the entertainment programme. Santhosh Sequiera compered the programme.
