Bengaluru: Lawyer Jagadish arrested, sent to judicial custody for 14 days

Bengaluru, Feb 14: Halasoorgate police arrested lawyer Jagadish on the accusation of inciting chaos that occurred at the civil court premises of the city, assault on lawyers, threatening with life and abusing lawyers on social media.

Jagadish was arrested based on the complaint filed by lawyer G Narayanaswamy.

As Sunday was a holiday, accused lawyer Jagadish was produced at the residence of judge. He is sent to 14 days of judicial custody.

Jagadish was arguing case for the woman who was involved in the sleaze CD case pertaining to former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi and a woman who said that injustice is done to her by a BJP MLA. In addition, he also handles many controversial cases. Jagadish had abused police commissioner Kama Pant on social media in connection with a case.
