Jubail, Feb 14: Aparabal Yadav from Uttar Pradesh who was initially admitted at Royal Commission Hospital in Jubail, Saudi Arabia due to COVID in 2020, and later ending up in paralysis and bedridden for almost 2 years, has been successfully repatriated to his home back in India on October 9, 2021.

7 months ago Indian Social Forum team had received a call from one of the administration officer working in Royal Commission Hospital. The team had visited the patient and concerned doctors in hospital.

Since then ISF team have put thier best efforts in getting necessary documentations done from the government authorities, his sponsor company where he was working, the insurance company to get treatment expenses covered, the hospital administrations, Airlines to get chartered flight with necessary arrangements, and also with Yadav's family in backhome.

It was an ordeal journey, but by the grace of Almighty Allah his health condition got improved and finally medical authorities gave green signal to repatriate him back to his home.

He was discharged by hospital on February 9 and taken to airport via specialized Ambulance. ISF team had made sure to accompany till airport and fill the aviation formalities.

SDPI Uttar Pradesh team was ready with an ambulance at Lucknow airport to recieve him and take him hospital to admit and hand him over to his family and the doctors with entire medical reports of past two years.

Indian Social Forum thanks Ashraf Ullal, Shabbeer Krishnapur, Qaiser Kannangar and rest of the team who have spent day and night behind this noble work. ISF also thanks the doctors, nurses, hospital management, the GR officer at his company and last but not least thanks to Shahbuddin who came forward voluntarily to accompany with patient to take him back home.
