Karkala, Feb 15: Prema Rao (15) from Neklaje from Casba village lost her life after she fell into a well. The incident happened on Sunday February 13.
The lady was suffering from chronic stomach ache and backache. On Sunday afternoon, after lunch, other members of the family were asleep when Prema left her home to visit a neighbour. She had not returned for long. The family members went looking for her and found that she had fallen into a well located in the rear side of her house.
She was then brought out of the well and taken to the government hospital in the town. The doctors who checked on her confirmed that she was no more.A case in this connection was registered in the town police station here.
