Bangalore: Nithyananda Statement Differs from Ranjitha Story

Bangalore, Jan 2 (DHNS): Contrary to Tamil actress Ranjitha’s denial, Nithyananda admitted to his Karnataka CID interrogators in April 2010 that during her stay at his Bidadi ashram for more than a year, he ''had sex with her many times'', according to official documents in the possession of Deccan Herald.

According to Ranjitha’s complaint, filed before a Ramanagara magistrate on December 30, and at her press conference here on Friday, she claimed that the man and the woman shown having a sex romp were not Nithyananda and her.

But during his interrogation on April 27, Nithyananda’s recorded statement gave graphic details of his alleged affair with Ranjitha.

He also claimed that he “might have had sex with more than 15 women.”

The police believe that Ranjitha’s complaint of alleged attempt to rape, molestation and blackmail against Nithyananda’s assistant Lenin Karuppan was aimed at harassing the whistleblower and cause confusion, besides weakening the case against Nithyananda.

Actor’s claim

In her statement to CID sleuths in June 2010 — a copy of which is available with Deccan Herald — Ranjitha, in fact, did not even make a whispering reference to Karuppan’s alleged attempt to rape, molest and blackmail her.

The police suspect there is a “concerted move to malign Karuppan”, a move which appears to have been made in unison by Nithyananda, Ranjitha and a few others.

In his police statement, Nithyananda had said: “In the court I will not admit that I had sexual act with Ranjitha because I have to defend myself”.

Forensic test

The authenticity of the CD is corroborated by the Hyderabad-based Forensics Science Laboratory whose report clearly says that “there are no indications of alteration in the identified video shots on the basis of examination using non-linear video editing and storage system and video analysis system”.

Copies of the lab reports are in the possession of Deccan Herald.

Juhi, Malavika greet b’day boy

Three film actors from Bollywood, Sandalwood and Tamil filmdom visited Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham in Bidadi, to wish Nithyananda on his 34th birthday on Saturday.

Juhi Chawla, Malavika and Ranjitha visited Nithyananda’s ashram to wish Nithyananda and took part in Anandotsava programme, held as part of the birthday celebrations. They met Nithyananda separately and discussed personal issues, sources said.

Large number of devotees used to take part in the Anandotsava programme in the past, but the number had dwindled this year.

By the dwindled number of comments about the ever smiling Nithyananda, it seems like the readers lost interest with him. So, after spending some time in jail, he can start over again with a new outfit and hairstyle for the next religious show, to enjoy everything of this world under the shield of "spirituality".

Swamy ... Just say "I did it" and move on without suffering. Be happier than the many people who said "I do" and suffer.

There is no reason to believe Ranjitha's version of story as there is clear evidence of unethical incidents happened in Ashram beyond CD evidence.Ranjitha tried her best to fool the people of Karnataka especially but failed miserably.Kaaaaaaaaami Swami also trying to damage control by inviting Seers to Ashram (Yesterday's Anandostava function only one Seer attended) but again failed to convince them. Therefore Kaamiswami and Ranjitha should gracefully accept the reality and face the society accordingly.
