Bengaluru, Feb 18: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, which has been aggressively attacking the Basavaraj Bommai led BJP government in the State, is all set to resume its padayatra demanding the implementation of the Mekedatu balancing reservoir project from February 27.

The KPCC under the leadership of its State President DK Shivakumar and Opposition Congress leader Siddaramaiah had launched the 11-day-long padayatra from Ramanagara district from January 9. But the party was forced to suspend the padayatra within 5 days over the sharp spike in Covid infection cases in the State and also the possible adverse action from the State High Court,

Now, the KPCC Chief Shivakumar has announced that the padayatra aimed at bringing drinking water for Bengaluru will be resumed from February 27 to complete the remaining 6 days for holding a public rally in Bengaluru.
