Kaup, Feb 21: Moideen Yousuf (16),who was riding a new two-wheeler without a number plate, lost his life in an accident which happened near the Hejamady tollgate in the afternoon of Saturday February 19. A lorry hit his scooter.
A lorry that was moving towards Mangaluru from the direciton of Udupi had hit the said scooter. The wheels of the lorry instantly moved on both the legs of Yousuf, who had fallen down. Yousuf was taken to a private hospital in Mangaluru. However, he did not survive there for long, it is learnt.
A case in this connection was registered in Padubidri police station.
