Mangalore: Police Bust Ganja Racket - Arrest Three

Mangalore, Jan 4: In a crackdown on drug peddlers in the city, narcotics police arrested three persons for illegal trade in Ganja near Jeppu here and recovered 5 kgs of the drug from them.
 
Police said that Nagesh, Nemiraj, and Sharathchandra are the arrested. They were selling the narcotic to students and other customers near Jeppu.

A two-wheeler and three mobile phones used by them for the purpose have also been seized. The value of the seized Ganja is not yet known.
 
Police inspectors Simon, staff Krishna, Vasantha, Harish Padavinangady, Ashok, and Naveen took part in the raid.
 
The arrested have been handed over to Mangalore south police for further investigation.

    By Looking at these persons, it is sure that they are only the sellers or dealers, there are many unseen faces behind this. What police needs to do is try to trap the hands behind this and demolish this mafia at root level.

    today it is ganja(marijuana) tommorow these guys will graduate to cocaine selling ,they target youngsters ,and alot of lives and families will be ruined ,it ...would any of ours too ,,these guys should be given the maximum sentence .

    Wonderful Job excecuted by Mangalore Police Inspectors. Immediately the DGP should recognise the wonderous job carried out by Mangalore Police Inspectors. The deeper bracket involved in the racket need to be uncovered. I am sure the underworld chelas are active in Mangalore.Police commissionrate must take up this issue seriuosly as further clues are very vital. Thanks to Mangalore police.
