Bangalore: Kumaraswamy Pledges to Intensify Fight Against State Government

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Jan 5: JDS state president and former Karnataka Chief Minister, H D Kumaraswamy, said that the zilla and taluk panchayat election results have not been up to the expectations of the party leadership. Speaking to news persons from Dubai, where is on a visit with family, he said on Tuesday January 4, that his party will intensify its fight against the corrupt government in the state till it is doomed. At the same time, he expressed disappointment at the fact that the disinterestedness of the Congress to strike an alliance with the JDS gave BJP the opportunity to show better performance in some districts.

Kumaraswamy, who has of late been on a warpath with the Chief Minister, Yeddyyurappa, after a coup supported by him, staged by the BJP legislators, failed to topple the government. While the results of the taluk and zillal panchayat elections have come as a dampener for the BJP, they have also not thrown up an occasion to celebrate for the Congress and the JDS either, as these parties too have faltered to muster enough numbers in a number of zilla and taluk panchayats.

“The BJP claimed that it would come to power in at least 25 of the 30 zilla panchayats in the state. It has been able to win in 12 districts, only with a slender majority. Even in Shimoga district, bastion of Yeddyurappa, BJP struggled to put up a respectable show. This government is sure to fall, and in the next assembly election, BJP will prove to be a non-entity in the state. The people will express their frustration against the BJP in the assembly election,” Kumaraswamy predicted.

Kumaraswamy said that he had sensed a pro-JDS wave during electioneering, and the party had hoped to come to power in about ten districts, which did not happen.  He confessed that in Mysore district, the party suffered setbacks because of some wrong decisions, and that in a few seats, the party candidates lost by a handful of votes. He also lamented about the poor showing of the party in districts like Kolar, Bangalore Rural, Koppal, and Raichur districts.

He expressed hope that the Congress will at least realize now that if it had struck an electoral understanding with the JDS, the BJP would not have come to power in more than three to four zilla panchayats. He wanted the top leadership of that party to introspect on this position and take up corrective steps at least henceforth.

Kumaraswamy felt that convening of an assembly session by the government and its Chief Minister has lost relevance because of the fact that both of them are corrupt. He accused the BJP of planning to suspend 15 opposition legislators to have its way, and said that the opposition parties will not allow this to happen.

Mr. Harshith, for Shiradi ghat road, only person to be blamed is K.H Muniyappa. When he was minister at center during previous term, the govt sanctioned crores of budget to lay concrete road. This minister ate 75% of the money and the rest was used for road. Just imagine how good the quality may have been. Result, you can see now. BJP may have won elections in last 15yrs in M'lore region. But nothing was in its hand.

Top actress Radhika (30 films to her credit in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu) said to be having extra marital bliss with former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy, the present MP has delivered a female kid according to reliable sources. The delivery, according to rumours took.Radhika has confirmed this re-entry to her closets. Apparently the film ‘Ishwar’ that Radhika completed in the last year for a song balance is ready to hit the screen from a long time.Former Chief Minister and JDS State President HD Kumaraswamy and actress Radhika travelled on the same flight to Maldives from Bangalore on January 5. They sat next to each other on an Air India flight to Male, the capital of Maldives. Copies of boarding passes bearing seat No. 1A and 1C were being circulated to newspaper offices on Tuesday night. Political circles have been agog about Kumaraswamy and Radhika’s relationship for sometime now. Appearing in a Telugu film by actress Radhika is an old commitment. The shooting is in progress at Melkote and Nandigrama. The song portions are shot in hilly regions. This film earlier titled as ‘Devatha’ now likely to change has a good role for me. It suits my nature. I am a god fearing personality and very sentimental.

    Kumaranna,
Opposition party's job is to guide the ruling government that was elected by the people of Karnataka and to ensure that the developmental works are carried out by the government as promised in their election manifesto. You people act like uncivilized lot, and just want to pull down the govt. for your selfish interests.

If you are really concerned about the welfare of the state and its people there are so many ways to serve the people. So, stop criticising. Even if you want to criticise it should be constructive and not destructive. Karnataka people have lost faith in politicians and the system and anything can happen in the next election... better watch out.

    Dear Mrs. Sonia Gandhi:

No doubt you are a undisputed leader of India but at least now ask JDS to work together with Congress and for sure Congress will come to power with JDS backing. Do not listen to any party leaders. You take a decision like Mrs. Late Indira Gandhi. This is the only solution. BJP pours money to the voters and liquor and with their black money. Cheer up congress and go forward. We will win. God bless you.

If Congress wins tomorrow that does not mean congress is clean as there are several scandals uncovered in cenre. Similarly this win of Yediyurappa has given him and gang more strength to do more corruption and given green signal to him and gang.Indeed it was do or die situation for Yeddy and ministers and his central bosses who blessed yeddy and covered his misdeeds. If Yeddy had lost HDK compaign would have put Yeddy & friends in great difficulty. Now they can relax for the time being. I am ashamed of our system.A man who had to be thrownout is being garlanded by us!!

Today BJP is in power in Karnatka and HDK and his Father, the Old GOOSE Deve Gowda is responible. They pulled support to Dharam Singh Congress Government and formed the Government with the help of BJP. Then again they pulled the BJP Government within 13 days of its coming to power. Today like DOGS and CATS the Foolish Father and Son is after BJP Government and wants to pulled it down again. This is the only Good work this Father and Son did. I cannot understand why these two characters are not realising due to them BJP came to power. Now why they are not allowing them to work for 5 years. Why they want to distablise an elected Government ?

Politically the duty of opposition party is to support and guide the ruling party. But in our India the opposition part will try to collapse or hurdle the ruling party. When JDS, congress is ruling BJP didnt hurdle. Thats the reason SM Krishna (congress) could do something in 5 years. BJP is not able to do anything since JDS and congress are not supporting them. People are blaming BJP didnt do anything then what did JDS and Congress do in 10 years.

JDS a regional party has no standing in entire Karnataka but only in Gowda pockets.DK JDS unit better to be dissolved once for all.The most disliked face of JDS is it is purely communal.Muslim league is hundred times better.Thought the party seems to be communal it is not so like JDS.JDS never allows other than Gowdas to come up politically or otherwise. So this party has no scope at all.Congress should be at a distance from JDS at any cost to save itself from disaster.

The person who is staying in glass tower never dare to throw stones to any. I even dont support yediyurappa's involvement in property deal. But whatever i have not seen the development in mangalore city and near by villages, that i have seen in the last two years. Mr Gowda and family kindly extend ur support to development. If no infrastructure is provided people will spit on u..
