Riyadh: Air force chief visits King Fahd air base

Riyadh, Feb 25: Preparations are on in the King Fahd air base for joint military exercise with UK. Maj Gen Talal bin Suleiman Al-Ghamdi visited the facility and reviewed the action.

The joint military exercise between Saudi and UK is slated to be held in March in Coningsby air base of England. Royad Saudi Air force Typhoon combat aircrafts will take part in the exercise along with technical, support and air staffs.

Al Ghamdi met the participants and had conversations with them. Ghamdi asked the participants to make utmost use of the opportunity and improve their combat skills. He was briefed on the progress of the preparations by the commander of the group.

The exercise is carried out in order to enhance the expertise and develop joint planning and implementation of efforts to face any crisis through electronic warfare as per the information shared by Al Rajhi commander of the forces.
