Scrap Reddys’ Mining License, Says Supreme Court Committee

New Delhi, Jan 7(DHNS): The Centrally Empowered Committee (CEC), enquiring into illegal mining on the borders of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, has submitted its report to the Supreme Court on Friday.

The report states that six mining companies, including Obalapuram Mining Company of Reddy brothers, are mining illegally and recommended the cancellation of their licenses.

The committee says that the Reddys' mines extracted more iron ore than the amount permitted in their lease. It has said OMC should pay "exemplary compensation" for mining in reserved forest areas.

The court has given two weeks for filing objection against the report.

BJP has A to Z specialists and doctors in twisting the things. Many are Phds in lies. Achary who did not know how to utter a word has learnt to speak too and was instrumental in saving corrupt Yeddy. When BJP can remove the elected mlas and retain power do you think they will care for this type of report? Do you think they are not capable of getting away from this accusation? Only a miracle can put them out.Dr Parameshwar of Cong and Kamar from JD(S) must join hands together instantly before its too late.

guys listen... its just that we are fighting with each other with our comments and our support to individual parties. But at the end these politicians are all same. They come to politics to make money and no matter what they make it and go. At the end of the day they are tried tested and a case is being registered and then the enquiry goes on and on.....

All will be out on Bail and they will leave happily ever after....

So at the end we are totally fools who fight for these politicians.

Because our law is having so many Loop Holes that this cannot be controlled.

So guys first try to change the laws and then we speak about all the things.

I think that will make sense... isnt it????

Now let us see who will save Reddy Bros and Yeddy ? Good news this is for the entire Kannadigas. Its a shame on part of the CM. Now there will be no Yeddy, Reddy or Cheddy. Where is Jaitley, Sushma, Advani, Naidu, Rajnath and Gadkari now ? Why no comments from anyone. I knew one day BJP Government in Karnatka will COLLAPSE on its own and there is no need for Congress or JDS to pull it down. Now Yeddy will have to count his days and will have SLEEPLESS NIGHTS. Law took its own course now. When they have CROOKS in their own party BJP is behind Dr.Manmohan Singh our PM. Quotrochi, Bofors is become a very old stories and no one is interested to hear this any more. Congress won contnuously 2 Loksabha elections. Why BJP is still dugging this matter again and again is the question. BJP has no other issue so they dig something.

Finally a voice of reason. At least because of some politics between the center vs state some sanity is dawning upon us. However, I am wondering if this license will be given to yet another set of pillagers, who will ransack again with the power of freshly issued licenses and then take another full circle all once again culminating in cancellation of licenses by centrally powered committee. The crust of the matter is willingness to steal nation's assets for one's personal gains. The judiciary should make an example of this rampant brothers so that future pillagers will think twice before they venture into into such robbery.

after seeing yedyurappas comment, it is evident that yedyurappa lost himself trying to stick to his cm seat. what type of a comment is this... "Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa turned it down saying "how can there be an action before the Supreme Court verdict?"

If supreme court verdict comes everyone including yeddy knows that action is inevitable.
every response from yeddy is very commical. he is a real joker who doesn't know what morality is all about.

How ever corrupt BJP may be it will not resign because authority of courts is below BJP leaders.Secondly BJP only shouts of corruption of others parties and not about corruption themselves.

Not just the mining licences should be scrapped, but all the Reddy brothers must be sacked if Karnataka's politics should become healthy and the ugly-shameless ``Operation Kamala" should end.
