Chennai, Mar 1 (IANS): Actress and politician Khushbu Sundar has expressed her deepest condolences to the family of Naveen Shekharappa, the 21-year-old Indian student who was killed in shelling in war-ravaged Ukraine on Tuesday.
Taking to Twitter to express her grief over the news of the death of the fourth-year medical student in Kharkiv, Khushbu, once a star actress in Kannada too, said, "Heart breaks to know we have lost a young student in Kharkiv shelling. He was from Karnataka."
"No words will ever heal the pain of the parents. I, as a mother of a 21-year-old, can feel it. May God give them the strength to cope with this. Deepest condolences to his family. RIP."
The young student, who was studying in the Kharkiv University, was killed while he was trying to make his way out of Kharkiv.
Television reports claimed that the young medical student was trying to head to a train station in Kharkiv when tragedy struck.

Wed, Mar 02 2022Mr bhakt. Please get your facts right. The advisory didn't insist on evacuation. It only forbade non essential travel. When the situation escalated, flights (only few were operating) were charging in lakhs which many couldn't afford. So they stayed back. Current situation proves that Modi was never a world leader as claimed by his followers. If he was a world leader, he would have requested for a temporary ceasefire and the request would have been accomodated. But here we see total failure of leadership, intelligence and diplomacy. Now only PR events are done to salvage image.

Wed, Mar 02 2022Mr. Sanjay, it is easy to comment sitting here. Ground realities are not well known to us. Compulsions of curriculum are toughest in medical sciences field. Moreover almost all thought there may not be a war. Students there do not have the liberty to decide to travel. They are solely dependent on handlers/guardians.

Tue, Mar 01 2022HEART BREAKING NEWS . DISTRESSING. LESSON FOR ALL OTHERS TO LEAVE SUCH PLACES OF ARMED CONFLICTS AT THE EARLIEST. LIFE SHOULD NOT PUT AT STAKE FOR THE SAKE OF CAREER IN SUCH GRAVE SITUATIONS. GOVT MUST PROVIDE ADEQUATE COMPENSATION TO THE FAMILY. NAVEEN. PRAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE AND LORD RAMA GIVE STRENGTH TO FAMILY TO BEAR THIS TRAGEDY. GOVT OF INDIA SHOULD ARRANGE COTINUANCE OF FURTHER STUDIES OF ALL MEDICAL STUDENTS WHO HAVE BEEN EFFECTED BY UKRAINIAN WAR BY ATTACHING THEM TO ALL MEDICAL COLLEGES AVAILABLE IN INDIA BOTH GOVT AND PRIVATE ACCORDING TO STUDENTS TIME SPENT IN UKRAINE AND LEVEL REACHED. IT WILL AVOID WASTE OF TALENT AND FINANCES. EXTRA SEATS BE CREATED IN EVERY MEDICAL COLLEGE . MEDICAL COURSE CAN BE EASILY CONDENCED TO FOUR YEARS. ARMED FORCES MEDICAL SERVICES TOO CAN BE OF GREAT HELP BY CREATING INFRASTRUCTURE AND PROVIDING TEACHING STAFF. THEY POSSESS BEST OF MEDICAL SPECIALISTS AND ARE THE BEST TRAINERS IN THE WORLD

Wed, Mar 02 2022Minority and SCs and STs students with their low marks are getting into good medical colleges ... Thanks to Modi government .. for the appeasement politics he has increased reserved category seats. So they are getting enough feelings from Vishwa guru, they don't need Kushubu's or rest of the general category Indians feelings
