Karnataka reports 181 Covid cases, 3 deaths in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, Mar 11: Karnataka on Friday, March 11 registered 181 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state at 2,764. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 122.

As many as 3 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Friday, the death toll in the state has risen to 40,016.

The state recorded 260 discharges from hospitals on Friday, taking the total discharges to 39,00,688.

So far, Karnataka has seen 39,43,506 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.41% while the case fatality rate for the day is 1.65%.
