Dubai: Milagreans Gear up for Annual Fest

Dubai, Jan 18: Milagreans- Kallianpur Gulf Association, Dubai-UAE (MGAD), is an association of likeminded people belonging to Milagres parish, Kallianpur, and the ex-students of various Milagres institutions, who are presently settled / working in the UAE.

The committee members of MGAD have extended a cordial invitation to all the fellow Milagreans, well-wishers and friends, for their annual parish feast (Vodlem Festh) celebration.

The event promises to bring back memories of typical ‘Kallianpur Milagres Vodlem Festh’. This daylong event with wide variety of family fun, including live music, dance, stall games, lucky draws, and of course, the grand Milagrean Housie, will sure provide the participants with ample fun and entertainment.

Special attractions of the event will be the ‘combo draw’ and Milagres stall - the typical Festh way.

The best Indo-Sri Lankan band in town, ‘Simple’, will provide quality music, which the organizers claim, will echo in the ears of the audience for many years to come. The band will be complimented by the best Mangalorean DJ's in town, who will rock the floor with their scintillating numbers.

Prizes worth thousands of dirhams will be on offer.

The proceeds of the event will be utilized for instituting a Milagrean scholarship / Aid-in-Need fund to help the needy back home.
