Kundapur: 300th Death Anniversary of Blessed Joseph Vaz Observed

Kundapur, Jan 19: Blessed Joseph Vaz Centre at Gangolli, near here, observed the tri-centenary death anniversary of their patron during a function held at Immaculate Conception Church, Gangolli, here recently. 
 
Fr A D’Lima presided over the function held at Gangolli parish. 
 
Fr Andrew D’Souza, director, Blessed Joseph Vaz Shrine, Mudipu in Mangalore, Walter Nandalike, managing director and editor-in-chief, Daijiworld Media Private Limited, Jerald Crasto, former president, Gangolli parish council, were the chief guests on the occasion. 
 
Fr Anil Cornelio, convent superior Sr Archana, and Gangolli parish council secretary Helen Rebeiro were present on the dais.





























 
Fr D’Souza presented a talk on the zealous life of Blessed Joseph Vaz both in south Canara, Goa, and Sri Lanka.
 
Walter Nandalike spoke about the spiritual values of Blessed Joseph Vaz.
 
Jerald Crasto appreciated the mission Center dedicated to patron Blessed Joseph Vaz.
 
Fr A D’Lima honored the parish priests of Kundapur deanery and the religious nuns for their selfless services to society.
 
Fr Anil Cornelio inaugurated the exhibition on the life of Blessed Joseph Vaz which was organized by Fr Vinod Lobo.
 
Co-ordinator Janet Fernandes welcomed the gathering. Blessed Joseph Vaz Centre director Vinod Gangolli proposed the vote of thanks.  Preethi Fernandes compered the programme.
