Udupi: Graffiti against Hijab verdict on Malpe Bailakere walls, Hindu workers protest

Udupi, Mar 17: Graffitis on the wall written by unidentified miscreants in support of Hijab was found on a wall in the Malpe Bailakere vicinity. The writings were found soon after the high court verdict over the Hijab controversy.

The writings on the wall of an unauthorized building at Bailakere read "Hijab Movement" and "Hijab is our right."

Hundreds of Hindu activists gathered at the spot and urged for the arrest of those who violated the high court order.

Police circle inspector Sharanabasava Patil visited the place and convinced the Hindu activists to disperse.

A police case against the miscreants is registered at Malpe police station.
