Kaup: LPG cylinder explosion incident – Two more succumb to injuries

Kaup, Mar 24: Two more people, who were seriously injured in an incident where a LPG cylinder exploded at a scrap shop, succumbed to injuries at the hospital on Thursday March 24.

The deceased are identified as Nayaz (36) and Veerappa. With this, the death toll in the incident has risen to four.

It may be recalled, LPG cylinder exploded at a scrap shop at Farkinakatte here on Monday March 21. Razab from Mallar and Razab from Chandranagara, had lost their lives at the spot.


Nayaz

Hasanabba, Nayaz and Veerappa were admitted to the hospital in serious condition.

Nayaz is survived by wife and three children.

    Compensation liability for loss due to LPG cylinder accident is Rs 50 lakh per incident and Rs 10 lakh per person. This compensation is payable in these cases. Hadhasa is done at the house of the customer registered with the gas agency.

    real kujuma, gas cylinders are not accepted by scrap shops because it's illegal and dangerous too because some may contain residual gas which can get ignited even by a friction spark!

    i was about to fall off my chair reading your comment...what is not possible in this country? is there any control over anything? gas cylinders are being stolen, half filled, transferred to other commercial cylinders, likewise do you think the petrol and diesel you get in bunks is not adulterated? not even milk is genuine here..but we have to live in the highly corrupted environment as bluejp has successfully fooled the majority community...
