Mangalore: Jeppu Cathedral Celebrates Annual Feast with Grandeur

Mangalore, Jan 26: The annual feast of the St Antony’s Jacobite Syrian Cathedral, Jeppu and commemoration of the graces of its patron saint St Antony was held with fervor, faith and traditional grandeur from Saturday January 22 to Wednesday January 26.


Various programmes were organized under the spiritual guidance of Geevarghese Mor Polycarpose, Yuhanon Mor Militius, Kuriaskose Mor Ivanios and Yacob Mor Anthonios Metropolitans.  In addition, the Gospel convention for the spiritual upliftment was also held.

On the final day after the Morning Prayer, a Holy Mass was held with 5 Altars offered by Metropolitans. A procession was held at 12.00 pm.

Church Committee members - P P Kurian, joint secretary, C Cherian, treasurer, E P Isac, secretary and Fr Sunny John Planthottathil, vicar have strived to make the programme a grand success.
