About ‘Spandana’

‘Spandana’, a platform for the convergence of student social workers was the outcome of the efforts of MSW students in 2002. To share thoughts, ideas, and knowledge and to work together towards serving the society in a better way, the need for a platform for interaction among students and social world professionals was felt. The result was Spandana – responding to realities, an annual symposium for student social workers to meet, interact and gain knowledge.

Thank you very much for your coverage on SPANDANA 2011. I'm sure that the theme SOCIAL WORK - A CALL & RESPONSE will give all the participants a new opportunity and hope, that all isn't lost yet, that we can still make the changes we desire. This social workers' meet reminds that we are all called to respond positively to the problems of our society.
Kindly note the error - Mr. Allen Pereira is the Managing Director and former chairman of Bank of Maharastra, Govt of India enterprise. Kindly rectify this error.
