Mangalore, Jan 29: The graduation day of Dr M V Shetty Education Institutions under Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust was held at Loyola Auditorium of St Aloysius Pre-university College on Saturday January 30.
 
Prof H A Ranganath, former vice chancellor, Bangalore University, was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he called upon the students to inculcate professional qualities while challenging their future prospects.

Kedar Paudel, joint secretary, ministry of law and justice, Government of Nepal, was the guest of honour. He said that Mangalore is considered to be an educational hub as students from all over the world are eager to come to the city for an education. He lauded the quality of infrastructure and other facilities being provided by the M V Shetty institutions for its students.

Both the dignitaries awarded the graduation and merit certificates to 395 post graduates and under graduates of 8 colleges under Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust.
 
Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust founder secretary Dr M Ramgopal Shetty presided over the ceremony. Prof B V Kathyayini, principal, HIS, Prof Susan Varghese, principal, COP, Dr T A Subba Rao, principal, COSH, Prof K Lathamani, principal, MLT, Nithyananda, principal, Leelavathi Shetty College of Education, Suma S Rai, principal, COSW, Arathy H Shetty, principal, Sarsa College of Arts and Science, and Arun Syam Philip, principal, SON, were present.
