Mangaluru: Miscreants create fake tiger sighting video, cause panic

Mangaluru, Apr 2: A video, which requests general public to beware of a tiger that is said to be seen near Shibaroor bridge on Soorinje-Kinnigoli road, created panic among the locals living on the outskirts of Surathkal.

The video went viral on social media on Friday April 1. The audio in the video is in Beary language.

The WhatsApp video contains tiger crossing the bridge. It was shared on a large scale.

When some locals approached the revenue officers, they clarified that some miscreants have created panic by falsely circulating the video and no such sighting is reported.
