Kasargod: Liquor party turns fatal with man getting killed by drunk son

Kasargod, Apr 5: A man killed his father in an inebriated state in Pandi near Adoor.

Balakrishna Naik (56) is the deceased. Police have arrested his son Narendra Prasad on charges of killing his father.

The incident took place in the morning of Tuesday, April 5.

It is said that both father and son had a fight with each other in a drunken stupor. In the altercation, Balakrishna reportedly died on the spot after falling on the ground due to the impact of the beatings by Narendra.

It is said that both had fought on the night of Monday also after consuming liquor together.

The Adoor police rushed to the spot and conducted an inquest. The mortal remains of the deceased have been taken to the Periyaram Medical College for post mortem.
