Mangaluru: Uninterrupted water supply to every household of MCC - MLA Vedavyasa Kamath

Mangaluru, Apr 7: MLA Vedavyasa Kamath said that he will put in every effort to provide uninterrupted water supply to every house under city corporation limits.

Kamath spoke after laying the foundation stone for water storage tank being built at Bajal at a cost of Rs 4.60 crore as part of Jalasiri scheme.

Kamath further said, “Due to the Bajal water storage tank which has a capacity of 20 lac litre storage, the dream of supplying water 24 hours of the day to 4,086 houses of areas of Valencia, Kankanady, Alape South and Jappinamogaru wards will be a reality.”

Mayor Premananda Shetty said, “Due to the initiative taken by MLA Kamath Rs 750 crore grant is released for Jalasiri scheme. We will try to complete the project as soon as possible.”

    karangalpady new 1st cross road (c.g. kamath road) was dug 4 pipe laying in december 2021 & yet not asphalted. full of dust blowing 2 da whole city. digging & covering, digging & covering, digging & covering.. ಗರಿಪ್ಪುನ ಕೌಂಪುನ, ಗರಿಪ್ಪುನ ಕೌಂಪುನ, ಗರಿಪ್ಪುನ ಕೌಂಪುನ....... idiots. moreover drainage / sewage water is flowing 24X7 in da rain water draining groove/thodu/ತೋಡು . written complaints r not heard in da corporation. da mrs.,corporator is just lying.

    They say there will be uninterrupted water supply under "jalasiri Yojane". But, its not so...Very few areas, where jalasiri pipes are installed, supply of water once in two days and that too for 3/4 hours. Its given to understand that this is happening where the wards are having congress corporators...Why uninterrupted water supply should be uniformal for all the citizens irrespective of bjp, congress, jd, aap, tum or me....Why partiality???

    Uninterrupted water supply of every household of MCC is only in Media and paper but in reality not having one hour drinking water supply in our area ( raining season also ) . For the same if we visit MLA , Mayor and MCC commissioner office they do not have time to talk with us . They send there engineer but not getting any out put from them .

    90 percent of water supplied from Thumbay gets mixed with drainage before getting delivered to MCC limits...so enjoy Pee water..

    Water from source goes through a process to make it potable... They do standard sampling and tests before releasing to public taps... For information in Israel toilet water is recycled and purified for drinking purpose... We better purify our inner selves instead of defaming public distribution entities...

    residing in manipal dont give bol bachan...living in mlore i know what is happening...in 2017 the well underground my flat building had shit flowing in it...the whole well was cleaned and the building people stopped using it totally....it was drainage mix up..now we use only corporation water..but still not sure...in a country like ours you are talking about hygiene, testing etc...everything is corrupted..
