Dubai, Feb 3: ‘Sambhram – 2011’ is just a day away, and the Bellevision UAE organizing team has been doing everything within its command to put up the best Konkani musical entertainment extravaganza ever on Friday February 4, 2011 at Dubai Grand Hotel – Pool Side, 11 am onwards. ‘Sambhram – 2011’ will mark the decennial celebrations of Bellevision UAE, a premier association of Belleans in the United Arab Emirates.
 
The day promises to be full of entertainment, with live music, rib-tickling stand up comedy, scintillating dance performances, sumptuous buffet lunch and spot prizes.  As all the entry passes are almost given away, a record number of crowd at the venue will be witnessing this splendid and enthralling musical event.
 
Talented singer and dream boy of Konkani, winner of ‘Best Singer’ award at Global Konkani Music Award-2011, Rony D’Cunha, will be the star performer.  The event will be enlivened by his presence, as he is one of the most popular entertainers amongst the Mangaloreans.

Arriving in Dubai specifically for this performance, Rony D’Cunha has promised an entertainment- packed event on Feb 4, 2011 "I am delighted to be here once again, and looking forward to perform in front of a packed audience. I am sure the event is going to be memorable," he said.   

Rony’s love for Konkani language and music and his golden voice to express that love, is what makes him a very special singer, and has carved out a place for himself in the hearts of the Konkani music lovers.

This event promises to be a feast of melodies, as Dony Correa, Preema D’Souza, Maria Fernandes, Godwin D’Souza and Loreen Machado will also join Rony in enthralling the audience with their melodious singing. 


Dony Correa, being an acclaimed Mangalorean singer and first runner-up of GVOM –I,  is popularly recognized as a commended performer with a  strong stage presence and ability to hold the audience spellbound.  He is a multi-talented young artiste, proficient in acting, singing and compeering.   He has also lent his melodious voice to a few Konkani Albums.

Preema D’Souza has performed in numerous stage shows for noted singers and composers like Wilson Olivera, Stany Mendonca,  Eric Ozario (Mandd Sobhann) and Paradela Nite. In addition, she also has rendered her melodious voice to over 45 cassettes/albums.  Some of her popular numbers include ‘Bhagintlea Sobith Tum Phula’, ‘Ghadi Udeli’, ‘Valchea Udkak’, and ‘Ani Maka’.

Maria Fernandes is an accomplished Goan singer for the last 30 years, and is sure to mesmerize the audience with her power-packed performances.

Upcoming and talented singers, Godwin D’Souza and Loreen Machado, will add beauty to the event with their soulful singing.
 
The event will portray the best talent of the team that includes young and prolific performers, and will also pay tribute to great legends of Konkani music, besides taking the people back to the golden era of Konkani music. 

A talented bunch of comedy artistes like Alphonse, Santosh and their team are all set to capture the audience with their side-splitting humour.  Acclaimed music director, Arun Carlo with his troupe, is sure to make everyone dance to his tunes.  Add to this impressive list, the presence of Feet Beat Dance Group, which will regale the audience with their exciting dances.

The event will be compered by well-known compere, Uttam Menezes, who is known for his powerful interaction with the audiences.
