Udupi: My silence troubles Siddaramaiah, H D Kumaraswamy - Bommai

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Apr 12: “If my silence is causing inconvenience to former chief ministers (CM) Siddaramaiah and H D Kumaraswamy, what shall I do? They both talk senselessly. If the words need to have meaning, there should be sense some when we talk,” said CM Basavaraj Bommai at Manipal on Tuesday April 12.

Bommai further said, “We are running the government. We have taken actions as and when required. When the incidents happened at Shivamogga, Dharwad and Kolar, we have sprung into action. We do not do appeasement politics like Congress and JD(S).”

Answering query on Covid guidelines, Bommai said, “We have the experience of tacking coronavirus pandemic. We have successfully handled first, second and third waves. But we are taking precautions. That is why the health department has taken our guidelines. If these are followed any situation can be managed.”

Refined language is the blessing bestowed upon the educated... Even though I am not a proponent of BJP I have developed a sense of respect for the way current CM conducts himself in public... Bit more governance development is the need of the hour... More importantly earnest effort to keep all communities together and progress...

Whatever it may be, but Bommai has successfully emerged out of shadow of Dr Yeddy and is providing an honest and straightforward approach to state leadership. His experience as HM has helped him and his calm composure is indeed troubling lot of opposition leaders!

We do not do appeasement politics like Congress - Bommai Congress does minority appeasement. Minority population is 20 percent. BJP does majority appeasement. Majority population is 80 percent. Who is the beneficiary?
